Cookies & Local Storage
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how solytrades.com uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies, and the choices you have. The Website is operated by SolyCode OÜ, trading as SolyTrades, and this policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website can place in your browser. Local storage is a related browser mechanism that keeps small values on your device until they are cleared. Both can be used for purposes that are strictly necessary to make a site work, or for optional purposes such as measuring usage or advertising. Some are set by the website you are visiting (first-party); others can be set by external services (third-party).
2. Our approach and consent model
This Website is built to keep client-side storage to a minimum:
- it self-hosts its fonts and does not load Google Fonts or any external font service;
- it loads no third-party analytics or marketing technologies;
- it embeds no third-party maps or video.
Because no analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies are deployed, the Website does not use a consent gate. We show a short notice explaining that the site relies on a single strictly-necessary preference, which you can dismiss with Understood. The only client-side storage used is that one preference, recorded so the notice is not shown again. If we later add any non-essential technology, we will introduce a proper consent mechanism before it loads (see “Future changes” below).
3. Categories we use
- Strictly Necessary
- Required for the Website to function and to remember your consent choice. Always active; these cannot be switched off.
- Functional
- Remember preferences to improve your experience. At present we store no separate functional preferences; your consent choice is recorded under Strictly Necessary above.
- Analytics
- Would measure how the Website is used. None currently deployed.
- Marketing
- Would support advertising or cross-site tracking. None currently deployed.
4. What we actually store
The complete inventory of storage used by default on this Website is set out below.
| Name / Technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration | First / Third-party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| soly_consent | SolyTrades (solytrades.com) | Records your cookie-consent choice so your preference is respected and the banner is not shown again. | Strictly Necessary | Persistent — held in local storage until you clear it | First-party |
No analytics, marketing, mapping, video or external font technologies are present, so there is nothing further to list at this time.
5. Future changes
If we later add analytics, maps, embedded video, external fonts, or anti-spam tools, we will update this policy and the inventory above, assign each technology to the correct category, state its provider, purpose and duration, and obtain your consent where required before any non-essential technology loads.
6. Managing your choice
You can delete the soly_consent entry, or clear your browser’s stored data for this site, which will cause the notice to appear again on your next visit. In addition, most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage through their settings; if you do this, strictly-necessary functions such as remembering that you have seen this notice may be affected.
